Midlands Arts & Crafts Society ("MACS") will be hosting Worldwide Spin in Public Day at MACS Art House, 23 Haldane Road, Pelham, Pietermaritzburg, South Africa.  MACS will be open on Saturday 17th September 2011 from 8am to 2pm and spinners are invited to come along at any time to spin.  Our non-spinning members will be knitting up handspun yarns so that they don't miss out on the fun.  If the weather is good we will spin in the garden or on the pavement so that the public can see us but if it rains we will spin in the main studio.  Refreshments will be available from the coffee bar during the day and there are toilets available.  Our craft shop will have a display of fleece tops, batts, spun yarn of silk, cotton, merino, mohair and blends as well as finished items.  Phone Joy on 033-3866500 for more details
